1. Can you describe the courses offered, duration and fees?

There are three types of courses offered by SAP.
1. SAP ERP Certification (in different modules Technical and Functional)
2. TERP-10 (Total ERP 10)

2. What are the pre-requisites for attending SAP Trainings?

SAP Solution Academy trainings are intensive in nature. It is essential to have good domain knowledge to undertake SAP Trainings. For a SAP Functional Candidate must possess appropriate academic qualification, backed by domain knowledge. Minimum required qualification is graduation with two years of domain experience. Those who don't have a degree must have eight to ten years of domain experience to undertake the training. Longer duration of domain experience covering various aspects of the domain is very useful for functional trainings in particular. For a SAP Technical Consultant IT oriented graduation or Non IT graduation with the knowledge of C,C++ would be an advantage. The preferred qualification for undertaking training in various modules is given below:

3. What is the difference between SAP ERP and TERP 10?

SAP ERP course in different modules makes the candidates as a consultant, after completion candidates are professionals in configuring the entire enterprises structure in SAP software with all customization required by the clients.

SAP TERP 10 course makes the candidates understand the Business process integration in SAP software, after certification candidates are professionals in managing the entire enterprises core modules in SAP software implemented companies.

4. Who has designed & developed the course?

The course has been designed and developed directly by SAP Educational Services.

5. How is the course delivered?

The course is delivered to you via the SAP Learning Management System (LMS), a state of the art e-learning platform. Our center in Puducherry is connected to the SAP LMS via a secure Citrix gateway.

6. Where can I undergo the course chosen?

The course is delivered at our SAP SOLUTIONS ACADEMY & E-LEARNING CENTRE in Puducherry, authorized by SAP. Each learner will be provided access (via a PC) to the chosen e-learning course from our state of the art facility.

7. Is your center authorized by SAP?

Yes. Not only is our center authorized by SAP, but we offer courses designed, developed and delivered by SAP itself.

8. How do I get certified by SAP?

SAP certification is possible ONLY for those learners that undergo a course from a SAP authorized training center. Since our center is authorized by SAP, Learners from our center are eligible to take the certification Exam conducted by SAP all over India or overseas. Upon successful completion SAP AG(Germen) issues the certificate which is valid Globally.

9. Why is SAP offering E-learning courses?

Given the large worldwide demand for SAP professionals, the e-learning courses offer a way to create a genuine and certified pool of personnel that can serve businesses.

10. What is the advantage of undergoing a course directly from SAP?

SAP knows SAP best. Also SAP certification can only be undertaken by learners who have undergone courses at an SAP authorized learning centre. Certification by SAP is a consistent standard, recognized worldwide. Also, people who undergo courses from unauthorized centers are not accepted by industry as the quality of training provided is suspect. SAP has concrete measures to eradicate the unauthorized training.

11. Do you sell course material for any of the courses?

No. The course material is provided only to those learners who undergo the e-learning course consisting of theory and practical exercises, spanning about 200 hours.

12. How much does each course cost?

Each course costs Rs. 1,20,000. Certification by SAP is an additional Rs. 25,000. Service taxes are extra.

13. How do I register for an e-learning course at your facility in Puducherry?

You can call us and send us an email indicating your request, along with your resume. We will verify whether you satisfy the standard prerequisites for the course and revert back to you. You are also welcome to come for a counseling session after confirming a mutually convenient time with our Center Manager in Puducherry. We also arrange periodic info sessions at our center, which you can attend.

14. What is a SAP Solution Academy (training)?

The SAP Solution Academy offers partners, customers, and independent consultants comprehensive training in SAP solutions and best business practices that can lead to certification as an SAP consultant. SAP provides internationally recognized training that will help you build your client base and boost competitiveness.

15. What are the pre-requisites of enrolling for training in SAP Module?

To take any Functional module, you need to have a minimum of 2-3 years of industrial experience in the relevant business function. You need to be strong in programming concepts to take the technical module of SAP Solution Academy. This is generally recommended to people with minimum 1-2 years of technical experience.

16. What is SAP Certification program?

In the business world, SAP certification is most valuable in establishing your credentials. Those who hold it have honed their skills through rigorous study or direct experience. They have demonstrated their abilities by passing demanding, process-oriented exams. 17. Why the SAP ERP Application consultant certification is required?

SAP offers consultants the opportunity to obtain recognition of their SAP System knowledge by taking a Certification Test. The certificate provides customers with assurance that the consultant has passed the SAP Project know-how test .This is required to successfully implement SAP for customers. FRESHERS

1. Am a IT graduate Fresher which module is suitable for me?

For all IT graduates and non IT graduates with C,C++ knowledge, you can study SAP ABAP a technical module which does’nt need any domin experience.

2. Am a fresher MBA shall I take up SAP ERP course?

Yes you can take up the challenging SAP ERP relevant module based on your specialization subject. You should commence your career as an associate consultant then grow as consultant with your SAP project experience.

3. Is domin experience necessary for a consultant?

Yes, as a consultant you should be able to interact with the Industrial higher officials when you are sent for the implementation projects.

4. If am taking SAP ERP during my final year studies are just after completion, what are the job prospects I have in the present market?

As a fresher having SAP ERP certification you are unique in the market and in IT companies you will be placed as an associate consultant and in Non IT companies you can be a core team member / support consultant.

5. I am a MBA graduate dos’nt have any programming knowledge?

Absolutly its not required for a Functional consultant, for programming dedicated technical professionals are there to handle the technical issues.

1.Am a graduate non relevant to the SAP functionals, but have a vast experience in Logistic, shall I get into SAP functional module.

Yes, after having considerable years of experience the qualification is least considered but should have a graduation.

E-Learning

1. How is the e-learning course different from an Instructor led training course?
